I'm Naomi, the owner of Made in Minny. Everything you see here is a true reflection of me. I'm behind everything from making your products (crocheting and sewing) to the design of our website and packaging. I love creating, designing new patterns and making this a fun space where anyone is welcome.
I'm a creative soul, graphic designer and outdoor adventurer who has a passion for design and business. I'm born and raised in the Twin Cities area (but my heart belongs to the northlands of MN!). Being up North at my cabin surrounded by pine trees and lakes is my happy place.

Made in Minny is an adventure & lifestyle brand inspired by Minnesota outdoors. We design quality handmade beanie hats and accessories for the modern adventurer. All of our gear is handmade by me (Naomi!). I stand behind our high quality, handmade products and truly care about each piece I make -- because it's as unique as YOU.
I have a background in fashion & business and knew I wanted to start my own brand someday. A year out of college, I began crocheting beanie hats for myself and used my grandma's vintage sewing machine to practice making headbands. It wasn't glamorous, but it allowed me to START! After receiving positive feedback from family & friends I decided it was my chance to make this into something bigger and create my own brand! (And yes, I upgraded from using my grandma's vintage sewing machine)!
Our gear is thoughtfully designed for the modern day adventurer who likes to stand out from the crowd. We're all about wearing things that celebrate your uniqueness. It's so important to us that our beanies & accessories keep you warm and comfortable during whatever you do. We also want you to be able to pair our gear with any casual outfit, which is why we design for your daily life AND greatest adventures! I'll be honest - you can find me wearing Made in Minny gear most days of the week! When I'm not crocheting, you can find me at the thrift store searching for great finds for Minny Thrift which is another side project of mine!
